Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks an Armed Patrol Driver with DoD clearance in Culpeper, VA. You will provide armed security, patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents, maintaining calm, professional conduct and accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include enforcing site policies, documentation, and collaborating with teams to deter unauthorized activity. A valid armed license and DoD clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Armed roles require age 21+.
• Background check and drug screen per laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and carry out armed security procedures at an aerospace/defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor restricted access areas, verify credentials, report suspicious activity and hazards.
• Complete incident reports and logs accurately and promptly.

Pay Rate: $27.76 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following applicable post orders and armed response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
