As a Security Officer Armed 1st Shift Guard in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of activities that may affect personnel, customers, or property.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
