Job summary

FCS Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Armed Security Officer to monitor entrances, conduct armed patrols, and respond to safety concerns on site in Daytona Beach, Florida. You will stay alert, follow post orders, and document important activity during your shift.

You must maintain weapon readiness and firearm safety, observe hazards, report incidents, provide courteous service to staff and visitors, and maintain a neat, professional appearance while upholding site procedures and logs.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience or military/law enforcement/corrections background required.
• Ability to obtain Armed Security License & First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Pass drug screen, driving record check, and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be over 21 years old.
• Proficient English communication, reading and writing.
• Physical ability to meet all requirements (lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, climbing, running, standing).

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to obtain Armed Security License as required by state with 2 years Armed Security experience OR have prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience
• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be over 21 years old
• Proficient English language communication, reading, and writingskills
• Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed
