Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking an Armed Security Officer to patrol a hospital campus, deter threats, and safeguard staff, patients, and visitors.

You will respond to codes, document incidents, operate CCTV and radios, and support a safe environment while complying with policies. Flexibility to cover multiple facilities and maintain licenses is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of armed security experience preferred, with law enforcement or healthcare security experience advantageous.
• Proficiency in handcuffs, baton, handgun, non-crisis intervention, and radio communication.
• Ability to handle stressful, potentially violent situations and physically perform security duties.
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and multitasking skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; required certifications vary by state.
• Completion of required training including de-escalation, firearms, defensive tactics, and drug testing.
