Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking experienced and dedicated Armed Security Officers to join our team, providing exceptional protection services for our new site in Franklin, LA. You will contribute to a culture of safety and service across multiple client environments.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to incidents, monitoring cameras, writing detailed reports, and coordinating with law enforcement when needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older and able to pass a background check.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to work outdoors.
• Armed license is a plus and will be given first consideration.
• Minimum 2 years of security experience required or related armed service.
• Law enforcement/military background preferred for rapid screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while implementing safety and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property and perimeter.

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Armed Security Officers to join our team, providing exceptional protection services for our new site.

POSITION: Armed Security officer

LOCATION: Franklin, LA (between Jeanerette & Morgan City)

SHIFT: Full-time, 8hr shifts

PAY $19.00 / per hour / pays weekly

Duties include:

• Patrolling entry ways and exits of property
• Maintaining a visible presence to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Assisting staff and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Responding promptly to incidents and disturbances while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Monitoring surveillance systems and conducting regular checks on property security systems.
• Writing detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
• Collaborating with law enforcement and other emergency personnel when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• LAW ENFORCEMENT / MILITARY PREFERRED (will receive first consideration)
• 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER
• ABLE TO STAND/WALK FOR EXTENDED PERIODS (as needed)
• ABILITY TO WORK OUTDOORS IN THE ELEMENTS
• MUST HAVE CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• CURRENT ARMED LICENSE - A PLUS (will received first consideration)
• EXPERIENCE BEING AN ARMED GUARD- A PLUS
• 2 YEARS OF SECURITY EXPERIENCE NEEDED

FIRST INTERVIEW WILL BE A PHONE INTERVIEW.

As an Armed Security Officer you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
