Job summary

Palisades Tahoe is seeking a vigilant Security Associate to protect guests, staff, and assets while upholding safety policies and service standards. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and may undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.

The role requires 24-hour coverage readiness, ability to work in all weather, and strong teamwork. A California BSIS license is preferred, with CPR/First Aid training beneficial.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures.
• Able to follow all policies and procedures contained in Security Manual.
• Effective communication skills, oral & written.
• Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness.
• Neat & clean appearance per grooming standards.
• Punctual, report at scheduled start time in all weather conditions.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Ability to observe situations and make decisions.
• High level interpersonal skills for sensitive situations.
• 21 years of age.
• Pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides a safe environment for staff and guests 24 hours a day.
• Patrols the Resort and provides protection to all guests and employees.
• Be visible and accessible, watch for criminal activity and assist guests.
• Check doors and windows; document in Daily Log; report to supervisors.
• Transport guests and staff as needed.
• Lock/unlock doors as requested by staff.
• Identify safety hazards and report to Risk/Safety Manager.
• Respond to alarms and dispatched calls; take appropriate actions.
• Maintain comprehensive Daily Log.
• Interact with fire department and law enforcement as required.
• Complete incident reports.
