Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Frankfort, IN. This flexible role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

You’ll work at a designated site with a base schedule and potential to scale up to 40 hours weekly. Responsibilities include access-control procedures, visitor records, alarms response, and conducting patrols.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain entry records.
• Respond to access-control alarms and incidents following reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, and parking areas.
• Support deliveries, shipping and receiving, and contractor access with professional communication.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Access Coordination in Frankfort, IN, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and help control the movement of authorized personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, restricted areas, exterior perimeter, and parking areas to help identify unusual activity or access-control concerns.
• Support site procedures for deliveries, shipping and receiving activity, and contractor access while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
