Job summary

The Protective Security Officer role in Jackson, MS is an on-site, full-time position with responsibilities to protect federal property and employees. Qualifications

• Able to perform physical duties and stand/watch for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Control access to the facility through the admittance process.
• Monitor entrances/exits and direct movement of people and vehicles.
• Patrol the site on foot and respond to incidents.
• Preserve evidence and provide direction during emergencies.
• Prepare logs or reports as required for the post.
