Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Access Control Operator in Flowery Branch, GA. The role focuses on managing entry points, verifying badges, and maintaining visitor logs while delivering excellent customer service in a busy retail location.

You will patrol entrances, monitor alarm panels, and respond to incidents in a calm, solution-oriented manner. A background check and drug screen are required, with licensing considerations as applicable.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas of the retail and bakery location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, loading zones, retail spaces, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in clear, accurate reports while communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

As a Security Officer Access Control Operator in Flowery Branch, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy retail location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor alarm panels, and support a welcoming environment for employees and guests. You will use computer or tablet systems, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while helping to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $15.25 / Hour

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
