Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for a telecom unarmed patrol role in Langhorne, PA. The position offers a structured day/evening schedule and the opportunity to use our Claim a Shift platform to adjust shifts and earn more.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, including the perimeter, to help deter unwanted activity within a tech and media location.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols.
• Assist with the implementation of security-related protocols specific to a tech and media environment as directed by site management or Allied Universal.
• Support emergency response efforts as needed, following established procedures for the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
