Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Access Control in Florence, KY. Qualifications

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, escalating as needed to leadership and site contacts.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, shipping/receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter; conditions may vary by location.

Job Schedule:

Day Time

Mon03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Tue03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Sat11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and manage access points, verify credentials and delivery appointments, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Help to deter unauthorized entry and support the protection of personnel, products, inventory, and facilities by following access control protocols and reporting suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
