Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer X Ray Image Evaluation in North Andover, MA. The role focuses on screening visitors and belongings, enforcing access control, and maintaining a secure environment at a technology-focused site.

You will provide outstanding customer service, verify credentials, and respond to incidents. This is a full-time position with a daytime to overnight shift rotation, offering a competitive hourly pay rate.

Job Description

As a Security Officer X Ray Image Evaluation in North Andover, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, security-related environment by screening visitors and belongings, supporting access control, and monitoring entry activity. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and guests, and help identify potential concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and authorized items entering the location in accordance with established access-control procedures and site requirements.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation; direct guests and vendors to appropriate check-in locations and notify site contacts as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and/or emergency services in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
