Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Access Authorization in Lebanon, IN to safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees.

As an Access Control Officer, you will deter incidents, respond to alarms, patrol entry points, and report concerns per site requirements.

Qualifications

• CPR certification preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain access-related records per site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and report concerns.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-control activity and site needs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry, and maintain accurate access-related records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with building management, tenants, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding access-control activity, incidents, and site-specific needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
