Job summary

A leading casino entertainment company in East Peoria is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of guests and property. Responsibilities include monitoring areas for safety hazards, responding to emergencies, and maintaining security protocols. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $17.50 to $23.25 an hour with shifts from 1:45 PM to 9:45 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and security for guests, employees, property, and company assets.
• Monitor hotel, casino, and outdoor areas for disturbances, illegal activity, or safety hazards and take appropriate action.
• Patrol on foot, bicycle, and/or company‑supplied vehicle as required.
• Respond to emergencies in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies.
• Secure all keys and maintain their security.
• Complete requisite paperwork related to shift activities.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
• Physical requirements include lifting, reaching, kneeling, bending, and moderate to strenuous physical exertion.
• Prior experience in casino security (or a similar field) preferred.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record may be required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Compensation: $17.50 – $23.25 an hour,
Shift: Swing 1:45 PM – 9:45 PM.
