Job summary

Securitas Security in Waukegan, IL is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for full-time work on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will perform access control, patrol duties, monitor for safety issues, and provide clear written reports while engaging professionally with employees and guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification needed (provided).
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
