Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for full-time work in Waukegan, IL on 2nd and 3rd shifts. The position offers hourly pay between $18.00 and $19.80 and includes access control, patrols, and daily interactions with staff and guests.

You will develop conflict resolution, report safety issues, and work with a team to meet site goals. Candidates should be 18+, have a valid license, a HS diploma or GED, and be willing to pass pre-employment screening and background

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record for some sites.
• High School Diploma or GED or able to obtain GED within 6 months.
• Basic computer/tech skills.
• Customer service background preferred.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred (provided).

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required for some sites.

• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.

• Standard computer / technology skills needed.

• Customer service background preferred.

• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred (provided).

• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus!!

• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.

• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
