Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. seeks a Security Officer for full-time work in Waukegan, IL. Wage is $18.00-$18.60 per hour, with 2nd and 3rd shifts available. Responsibilities include access control, patrols, incident reporting, and teamwork to meet site goals.

Provides health/dental/vision, 401(k), and other benefits. CPR/AED/First Aid training is provided. Candidates must be 18+, have a valid license, GED or HS diploma, and pass pre-employment screening.

Basic Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clear driving record required.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification needed (provided).
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
