Responsibilities

• Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary.
• Secure, handle and transport large sums of currency.
• Safely transport and account for funds to and from locations.
• Follow policies and procedures to protect assets and personnel.
• Keep detailed records of funds transactions and transports.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report unsafe conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time Securty Officer 1’sto join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As a Securty Officer 1 you will be responsible for driving and transporting money and safeguarding money during transit. Our ideal candidate is a licensed driver and has experience working in a security or loss prevention role.

Pay

$15.00 – $17.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary.
• Must be comfortable securing, handling and transporting large sums of currency.
• Safe transport and accounting of funds to and from assigned locations.
• Follow policies and procedures, maintaining asset and personnel protection.
• Accurate and detailed record keeping of funds transactions and transports.
• Maintain constant awareness of surroundings and communication of unsafe or dangerous conditions related to equipment or operations to management. Security and confidentiality of proprietary data and information.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

More about you

• At least 21 years of age.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Basic math skills including addition and subtraction.
• Operate a motorized vehicle when necessary.
• No experience or diploma required.

Physical requirements

• Able to operate a motor vehicle for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift and carry a minimum of 35 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to stand, sit, and kneel for brief periods of time.
