Job summary

FilterEasy, LLC is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe work environment by patrolling, monitoring alarms, screening visitors, and enforcing emergency plans. This role partners with the Security Manager to uphold company policies in a growing home-product firm.

The ideal candidate will work 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:00 PM–11:30 PM), be capable of standing for long periods, pass a background check, and communicate effectively with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to operate security equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine patrols of designated areas to identify and report any suspicious behavior.
• Monitor security systems and alarms to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Screen individuals and belongings using metal detectors and other screening equipment.
• Conduct visitor intake, including verifying identification and issuing visitor badges.
• Follow emergency action plan procedures in the event of an emergency or crisis situation.
• Report incidents and security breaches to the Security Manager and follow up as necessary.
• Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, employees, and contractors as needed.
• Collaborate with the Security Manager to ensure all security policies and procedures are being followed.
• Escalate situations that require emergency services, such as medical emergencies or criminal activity.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities.
• Attend and participate in all required training sessions.

Job Summary

Security Manager to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures. As

Required Skills/Abilities

• ? Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends
• ? Must be friendly, positive, and professional to all employees and guests
• ? Excellent written and oral communication skills
• ? Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• ? Possess basic computer skills and be able to operate security equipment and software
• ? Working knowledge of basic security techniques
• ? Ability to work independently with little or no supervision

Education and Experience

• ? 1+ years of relevant experience is required
• ? High school diploma or equivalent required
• ? Must be able to pass a criminal background check

Physical Requirements

• ? Prolonged periods of sitting and walking
• ? Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• ? Ability to work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, day and/or night
• ? Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed
