Job summary

Hollywood Casino St. Louis is seeking a Security Officer to ensure guest and team safety while delivering excellent service on a fast-paced casino floor. You will respond to medical requests, monitor alarms, and document incidents with clear reports.

Requirements include being 21+, ability to work Friday through Sunday, and a valid gaming license. CPR/AED training is provided, and physical tasks include lifting up to 40 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
• CPR Certificate and AED will be provided.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Respond to all medical requests as primary or secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guests and employees with directions and procedures.
• Check identification to ensure guest is over 21.
• Handle fills, credit, exchanges and marker transfers as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements.
• Operate company vehicles safely as required.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• Be physically active during shift; stand, walk, and move.
• Team must lift and move up to 40 pounds.

As a Security Officer you will:

Pay: $17.00 per hour | Shift: Varies

• Assist sick or injured patrons and employees by providing first aid.
• Must respond to all medical request as either the primary or the secondary responder.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Assist guest and employees on directions and proper procedures.
• Ability to check identification to ensue a guest is over the age of 21.
• Performs fills, credit, exchanges and marker transfers for departments as needed.
• Compose accident/incident reports and witness statements when necessary.
• Operate company vehicles in a safe manner.
• Monitor and respond to alarms.
• This postions will require you to be standing and actively moving duration of your shift.
• In this role, you can expect to use your hands, walk, and be physically active throughout your shift.
• You will be required to help assist guest and their needs.
• Our security team must be able to life and/or move up to 40 pounds.
