Job summary

DSI Security Services is expanding its team in Springfield, GA, and is hiring Security Officers to maintain a safe environment for clients, staff, and the public.

This position requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. Shifts include First and Second Shift with a starting pay of $15.00 per hour and a progressive increase to $16.00 per hour after one year.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.

• Minimum 21 years of age

• Basic to intermediate computer skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions
• Must meet all preemployment requirements
