Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is looking for a Security Officer to work at Scarborough site. You will greet staff and visitors, conduct searches, patrol the premises, respond to alarms, manage access control and log incidents. The role requires 18+ and strong communication; IT knowledge is beneficial.

SIA license is a plus, training is provided. 42 hours weekly, 4 on 4 off, shifts 07:00-19:00 and 19:00-07:00.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Confident communicator and team player
• Good IT knowledge
• SIA license beneficial but not essential (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Greeting staff and visitors and ensuring security protocols are followed
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrolling the premises and responding to security incidents
• Responding to alarm triggers and emergency signals on-site
• Managing access control and signing visitors in and out
• Handling disturbances, reporting incidents and basic first aid when needed

Position: Security Officer

Location: Scarborough

Pay Rate: £12.98 per hour

Hours: 42 hours per week

Shifts: 4 on 4 off - Days, nights and weekends - 07:00-19:00 & 19:00-07:00

Your Time at Work

• Greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents
• Responding to alarm triggers and emergency signals on-site
• Access control and signing visitors in and out of site
• Dealing with disturbances/ issues and security incidents, first aid and incident reporting

Our Perfect Worker

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.

It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training.
