Mass General Brigham is seeking a more than capable security professional to protect patients, staff, and visitors. The role emphasizes patrols, incident reporting, and rapid response to emergencies within a hospital setting.
The ideal candidate will have hospital security or customer service experience (3–5 years), a Criminal Justice background, and relevant licenses. This per diem position requires vigilance and strong communication.
Provides a safe and secure environment for hospital patients, visitors, and employees by enforcing hospital security regulations and by continuously watching for and reporting potential safety hazards and unusual occurrences in a timely manner through patrol of assigned areas. Investigates complaints or potential criminal conduct; assists in restraining patients as necessary; provides protective services. Possesses and exhibits excellent customer service skills. If applicable, responsible for the arrest of criminal suspects under the authority of State Special Police license. Does this position require Patient Care? No.
