Job summary

DSI Security Services in Sacramento is hiring Security Officers to help maintain a safe environment for clients, employees, and the public. You will uphold professionalism, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Shifts available: First, Second, and Third. The role requires 18+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license is preferred. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour with health-related benefits listed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to conduct routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and work in all weather conditions.
• Must meet all preemployment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment through visible presence and routine patrols.
• Observe, report, and respond to hazards, incidents, and suspicious activity.
• Follow DSI policies, client requirements, and post-specific instructions.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and timely.
• Participate in training and comply with DSI safety procedures and manuals.
