Job summary

Securitas USA is seeking a Security Officer to patrol assigned sites and protect people and property. The role requires a year of security experience and a valid driver’s license; prior work in assisted living is a plus.

You will deliver reliable customer service and maintain safety by following post orders and site rules. We offer weekly pay, health/dental/vision benefits, growth opportunities, and an employee referral bonus program.

Qualifications

• 1 year of security experience required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in an assisted living facility preferred.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• Must meet licensing requirements for Security Officers.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at client sites to protect property and personnel.
• Patrols assigned areas; may involve stairs, inclines, uneven terrain.
• Handles lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally as part of duties.

Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
