Job summary

Fellowship Square is seeking a Security Officer for the 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm) in Phoenix, AZ. You will patrol, monitor alarms and CCTV, respond to emergencies, and enforce policies to protect residents.

This hybrid role also involves light maintenance tasks, such as painting and moving furniture, performed as directed by your manager in a team environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Security Guard preferred.
• AZ Driver's license required.
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Guard Card required.
• Experience with alarms and CCTV is a plus.
• Strong observation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alarms and CCTV cameras and patrol the property.
• Respond to residents’ emergency calls and report unusual activities.
• Enforce policies and protect residents’ rights under applicable laws.
• Answer phones and direct calls; perform data entry as needed.
• Contact emergency services when required; maintain safety.
• Assist with general on-site repairs such as painting and moving furniture.
• Maintain a reliable on-site presence during 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm).

Job description

We are looking for a professional and responsible Security Officer for 2nd shift 230 pm - 1100 pm, to patrol and monitor the property and act as a deterrent to crime, and oversee resident safety.

As a Security Officer, you will respond to all residents’ emergency calls and observe and report any unusual activities that take place throughout the property. You will enforce the policies and rules set forth by Christian Care and protect the rights of all residents within the framework of Federal, State, and Local laws.

Additionally, this is a hybrid role that involves both security and maintenance. It offers a great opportunity to the experienced Security Officer who enjoys manual tasks. The maintenance ‘arm’ of your role will require you to assist with general on-site repairs such as painting, moving furniture, and unblocking drains as directed by your manager while working as an enthusiastic team player to complete tasks and meet needs as they become apparent.
