GuardLogic in Hazard, KY is seeking dependable Security Officers to maintain a safe environment by actively patrolling, monitoring locations, and assisting clients and visitors.

You will operate cameras, report safety or maintenance concerns, and complete logs while adapting to nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Valid driver's license required for positions with vehicle patrol.

Security Officer

Overview

GuardLogic is seeking dependable and professional Security Officers to join our team. In this role, you will help maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring assigned locations, conducting patrols, and providing excellent customer service to clients and visitors.

What You'll Do

• Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas
• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems
• Identify and report safety, security, or maintenance concerns
• Complete daily logs, reports, and required documentation
• Provide directions and assistance to visitors and guests
• Carry out site-specific duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• Valid driver's license (for positions requiring vehicle patrol)
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness
• Ability to remain professional and responsive in a variety of situations
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform patrols for extended periods
• Capable of lifting up to 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Willingness to work in varying conditions, including outdoor environments and extreme temperatures

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening
• No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
