Qualifications

• 6+ months of prior security experience preferred.

• De-escalation training required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment across campus.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and disruptive incidents.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with de-escalation.
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations professionally.
• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and visitors.

  The posted range is the budgeted amount for this position. The actual rate of pay will be determined based on several factors, including your relevant experience, education, skills, internal equity, and alignment with Meritus Health’s compensation practices.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain a safe and secure environment across campus
• Prevent theft, vandalism, and disruptive incidents
• Respond to emergencies and assist with de-escalation
• Enforce parking and traffic regulations with professionalism

What You Bring

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• 6+ months of prior security experience preferred

Licensure & Certifications:

Driving Requirements (for Meritus Vehicles):

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record (no moving violations in past 3 years preferred)
• Annual certified driving record submission required
• Signed acknowledgment of Meritus Vehicle Management policy
