Job summary

Falls Management Company is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a multifamily residential community in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The role is full-time with an hourly salary of $18.00–$19.00, and reports to the Property Manager and Director of Operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, amenities, and common spaces.
• Monitor access points and observe property activity to deter unauthorized entry and unsafe conditions.
• Observe, document, and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and incidents to management.
• Respond promptly and professionally to disturbances, safety concerns, and emergencies.
• Contact local law enforcement or emergency services when appropriate.
• Enforce community rules and policies uniformly and without discrimination in compliance with the Florida Fair Housing Act.
• Post required notices, signage, and community communications as directed by management.
• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports.
• Assist residents and guests with general inquiries while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Monitor surveillance systems and security equipment when applicable.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and property operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Purpose: Responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and orderly environment

for residents, guests, staff, and property assets at a multifamily residential community in Florida. This

position provides a visible security presence, performs routine patrols, posts required notices,

responds to incidents, and supports property management while ensuring all actions are conducted

in compliance with Florida law, local ordinances, and fair housing regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior security or residential experience preferred

• Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements
