Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a full-time Security Officer at Hillcrest Hospital Cushing in Cushing, OK. You will protect lives and property, patrol grounds, and respond to security needs of staff, patients, and visitors in a hospital environment.

This safety-sensitive role requires a High School Diploma, knowledge of firearm use and safety, and CLEET Certification for Phase I, II, and IV. Minimum of 1 year security or law enforcement experience strongly preferred.

• CLEET Certification for Phase I, II, AND IV is required.

Responsibilities

• Protect life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Hospital Cushing premises.
• Patrol hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
• Secure, unlock, and protect hospital buildings as needed.
• Respond to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.

The hospital offers 24-hour emergency services, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology and more. We also offer inpatient behavioral health care to adults experiencing amental health crisis by offering a fully staffed team of licensed professionals, personalized treatment plans and continued support after being discharged.

• The Security Officer plays a critical role in protecting life and property of all persons on Hillcrest Hospital Cushing premises and patrols hospital buildings and ground to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism.
• Secures, unlocks, and protects hospital buildings.
• Responds to security needs of hospital personnel, patients, and visitors.
• This position is safety sensitive.

Job Requirements:
