OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to be the first point of contact for employees and visitors. You will monitor fire, security and building systems, ensuring tasks are completed professionally and in line with legislation.

The ideal candidate will hold a UK work permit, possess an SIA licence, and demonstrate reliability, initiative, and calm under pressure while maintaining strong communication with the team.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first line support to employees and visitors, providing professional service.
• Monitor fire, security, and building systems on site.

• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises security.
• Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents and activities.
• Collaborate with security personnel to ensure coverage.

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Act as a first line support to employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service
• Monitor fire, security, and building systems
• Ensure that assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, meeting relevant legislation
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
• Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and activities
• Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
