Job summary

Allied Universal in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer to greet visitors, manage access, and maintain a secure, customer-focused environment at an aerospace/defense site. You will respond to alarms and incidents, document logs, and work with a team to uphold site procedures while delivering excellent service to employees and guests.

A DoD Secret clearance is required, at least 1 year of security experience, and a high school diploma; CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Active Department of Defense Secret clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CPR certification and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, a background investigation will be conducted.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories per law.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident documentation, and other required records while protecting confidential information.

What You'll Do:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret clearance is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
