Tarian is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment at client sites. You will provide protective services, assist customers, and respond to incidents while upholding our values and community standards.

This full-time role includes on-the-job training, comprehensive benefits, and a clear career path. A high school diploma and ability to obtain required licenses are required; you must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 80 lbs.

Position Summary:

Compensation: Base rate $20/hr.

• Security Officers are responsible for maintaining security and safety throughout the organizaion - and serve as a visible deterrent to illegal activities.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required for this position upon receiving a conditional offer of employment.

Education & Experience

• Completed High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications
• Strong vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire work shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs.,
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Tariandriving guidelines if applicable (for Driving Roles).

• Previous work experience with the public in a service setting

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week, depending on the needs of the business. The work environment may be fast-paced and stressful or may also be quiet and slow-paced. All environments and pace of work will require alertness and ability to perform under pressure.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to sit, stand, and walk for variable amounts of time throughout an assigned shift; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects 25 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Frequently engages in mental concentration, analysis, and formulation.
