Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is hiring a Security Officer for a full-time position in Austin, MN. The role requires vigilance, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently while following post orders and completing rounds.

You will engage with client staff and guests, identify safety issues, and use technology devices during shifts. Prior security or military experience is a plus; a driver certification is required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Professional demeanor.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and escalation.
• Willing to participate in pre-employment screening (drug screen and background).
• Driver Certification.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
