Job summary

Lower Bucks Hospital in Bristol, PA, a Prime Healthcare facility, seeks a vigilant Security Officer for per diem coverage. You will conduct electronic surveillance, patrols, and respond to incidents to protect patients, staff and visitors.

The role requires awareness of safety policies, coordination with the Environment of Care committee, and occasional driving for hospital business. High school diploma or equivalent and security experience preferred; State Guard Certification preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual security rounds.
• Coordinates facility response to potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors.
• Enforces policy and procedure to ensure a safe workplace and environment of care.
• Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety.
• Participates in employee awareness and education. Driving as needed for company business.

Responsibilities

Performs security services, including electronic surveillance, and systematic manual Security Officers’ rounds. Coordinates facility response to various potential problems for patients, employees, and visitors. Enforces policy & procedure, ensuring equitable enforcement. Follows guidelines and perpetual monitoring techniques, towards establishing a safe workplace for employees and a safe environment of care. Works with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to security and safety. Participates in employee awareness and education. Driving as needed for company business.
