Immediate Opening for a Full-Time Loss Prevention Officer

Job Description:

• - Identify and Apprehend Shoplifters through floor patrol and the use of Closed Circuit TV Cameras
• - Report Writing
• - Interacting with local Law Enforcement as needed
• - Provide Courtroom Testimony as required

Job Requirement:

• - Pre-Employment Criminal Background Check and Drug Screening
• - Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
• - Reliable transportation
• - Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
• - Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
• - Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
• - Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
• - Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
• - Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
• - Previous Loss Prevention or Law Enforcement experience is a plus but not a requirement
• - Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
• - High School diploma or equivalent (minimum)
