Job summary

Fluidstack seeks a leader to own end-to-end physical security across greenfield data centers, driving ESS deployment and site-specific strategies. You will define guard post orders, partner with engineering for on-schedule deployment, and uphold our commitments to customers while protecting critical assets on active builds.

You will manage vendor relationships and ensure security programs scale across continents, with a focus on speed, ownership, and zero-ego collaboration.

Examples of key problems the team is working on

• You're securing the frontier of AI. The model weights training on our infrastructure are the most valuable and most targeted artifacts in technology, and we're standing up the compute to hold them faster than anyone ever has. A breach isn't a leak, it's the frontier walking out the door.
• Build the entire security program from scratch. Most leaders inherit someone else's system and spend a career patching it. Here you own it end to end, bare metal to boardroom, as we scale across continents.
• Your threat surface is measured in gigawatts. The customers running on our infrastructure are building the most consequential technology in human history, and being responsible for the physical and logical security of that work makes everything else feel small.

Role Scope

• Own end-to-end physical security across a portfolio of greenfield data center campuses, from groundbreak through commissioning into steady-state operations.
• Define and enforce post orders for contract guard services, holding the force to a high bar and managing the vendor strategically.
• Partner with engineering teams and trades to drive on-schedule deployment of physical security systems, including ESS programming and commissioning.
• Carry Fluidstack's security commitments to customers, hitting every contractual milestone.
• Design and execute site-specific strategies for secure material movement and protection of critical assets through deployment and operations.

What We're Looking For

• You've lived the full data center security lifecycle from groundbreak to go-live, and you speak construction and operations fluently.
• You're deeply technical on Electronic Security Systems: programming, commissioning, door hardware validation, not just oversight.
• You audit guard force compliance against post orders and manage the vendor to a high standard.
• You plan and execute secure material moves and critical-asset protection on active build sites.
• You're energized by the pace of getting things built and comfortable owning security when it touches everything on site.
• Bonus: Hyperscale greenfield builds. ESS deployment and commissioning at scale. Construction-phase security. Customer-facing security commitments.
