Job summary

Unifi Security in Las Vegas is hiring for a cart screening supervisor to oversee daily operations, train staff, and ensure adherence to airline and airport security procedures. You will lead workflows, supervise Leads and Screeners, and maintain high safety standards across shifts.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least 18, a valid Driver's License, and the ability to obtain airport credentials. Full-time hours, benefits, and flight privileges are provided after orientation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cart screening operations and ensure smooth, efficient workflow.
• Supervise and support Leads and Screeners during assigned shifts.
• Train and coach new employees on screening procedures and SOPs.
• Inspect airline catering/food & beverage carts, vehicles, and storage units before delivery.
• Verify transportation documents, vehicle seals, and contents.
• Address security concerns, incidents, and emergency alarms as needed.
• Complete work safely and in line with company standards.
• Report safety and security incidents and hazards per policy.

Job Duties

• Oversee daily cart screening operations and ensure smooth, efficient workflow.
• Supervise and support Leads and Screeners during assigned shifts.
• Train and coach new employees on screening procedures and SOPs.
• Inspect airline catering/food & beverage carts, vehicles, and storage units before delivery.
• Verify transportation documents, vehicle seals, and contents.
• Address security concerns, incidents, and emergency alarms as needed.
• Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards
• Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.

Security License Requirements

• Must have valid Security Guard Card.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two years of relevant supervisory work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements

• Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions

• Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
