Job summary

Saia Inc. is seeking a security investigator to support our nationwide operations. This role conducts investigations into security incidents and partners with law enforcement as needed to protect assets.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in business or related field, at least 2 years of private sector investigation or military experience, and familiarity with security standards and access systems. Travel may be required.

• 2+ years of private sector investigation, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Proficiency in technology security standards.

Responsibilities

• Responds and documents security incidents within an assigned geographic division.
• Conducts internal and external investigations of compliance matters, fraud, and theft of company assets.
• Uses a network of security experts, resources, and law enforcement contacts to ensure the safety and security of the organization.
• Monitors and manages the access control systems and CCTV, including installation and maintenance.
• Provides training and awareness programs to ensure knowledge of security standards and policies.
• Measures the effectiveness of security systems in place and identifies areas of improvement.
• Assists in investigations and critical event responses in coordination with law officials.
