Job summary

LVC Companies, Inc. is seeking a Security Installation Technician for its Tempe, AZ location. You will install, terminate, inspect, maintain, repair and certify security systems, wiring equipment, and related hardware, ensuring compliance with specs and safety protocols.

The role requires 3–5 years in the field, knowledge of Lenel or Software House access control, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Competitive hourly pay with strong benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of low voltage security systems.
• 3–5 years of industry experience.
• Experience with Lenel and/or Software House.
• Manufacturer certifications or experience with access control/intrusion software.

Responsibilities

• Plan and initiate low voltage projects.
• Install cable support systems and pathways.
• Wire and set up hardware components for security systems.
• Operate cable testing equipment to verify system performance.
• Interpret industry standards, project specs and drawings.
• Complete installations on schedule with efficient manpower use.
• Accurately track time sheets, tickets and inventory.
• Adhere to safety protocols and obtain licenses/certifications as required.

Essential Functions:

• Plan and initiate low voltage projects.
• Install various cable support systems and pathways.
• Wire and set up hardware components used in security systems.
• Operate cable testing equipment to verify optimal system performance.
• Interpret and follow industry standards, project specifications, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all installations are completed on schedule while utilizing manpower efficiently.
• Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items.
• Adhere to company and customer safety protocols throughout all work activities.
• Maintain or obtain necessary local licenses and certifications as required.

Qualifications:
