Job summary

EXCEL Group is hiring a Security Officer for an industrial manufacturing site in Calvert City, KY. You will manage access control, patrol fenced areas, monitor CCTV, and ensure shipments comply with Bill of Lading requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3 years of security experience preferred, and the ability to relocate to Calvert City, KY. Training is provided and uniforms are supplied.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Industrial maintenance: 1 year (Preferred).
• Security experience: 3 years (Preferred).
• Must be able to commute/relocate to Calvert City, KY before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all fence lines, gates, doors, buildings are secured and verified by security patrol checks at designated intervals.
• Monitor all personnel and vehicle access and implement all random inspections per procedure.
• Ensure all deliveries and shipments are conducted in compliance with the Bill of Lading requirements.
• Monitor all CCTV systems and document the camera tour results per procedure.
• Report all Incidents and emergencies per procedure to the supervisor and the department managers as required.
• Maintain and file all daily paperwork and prepare the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• Control access to all Restricted Areas, ensure only authorized personnel enter the area.
• Answer all telephone and radio communications with professional language and bearing.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, notify the proper department when any issue may arise that could affect the safe operation of the facility.
• Operate all security issue equipment, vehicles, golf-carts in a safe manner.
• Ensure all trucks are scaled in & out per procedure and the accompanying paperwork is turned in to the appropriate department.
• Security Officers will maintain a professional appearance at all times, uniforms will be serviceable and shoes shall meet plant safety standards.
• Be prepared to provide aid during any facility emergency to ensure the safety of plant personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all fence lines, gates, doors, buildings are secured and verified by security patrol checks at designated intervals.
• Monitor all personnel and vehicle access and implement all random inspections per procedure.
• Ensure all deliveries and shipments are conducted in compliance with the Bill of Lading requirements.
• Monitor all CCTV systems and document the camera tour results per procedure.
• Report all Incidents and emergencies per procedure to the supervisor and the department managers as required. Fill out the appropriate Incident Report Logs.
• Maintain and file all daily paperwork and prepare the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required.
• Control access to all Restricted Areas, ensure only authorized personnel enter the area. Anyone requiring access must be escorted if they do not have the proper credentials.
• Answer all telephone and radio communications with professional language and bearing.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, notify the proper department when any issue may arise that could affect the safe operation of the facility.
• Operate all security issue equipment, vehicles, golf-carts in a safe manner. Keep all security equipment in a clean operational status at all times. Any equipment needing repaired or replaced must be reported to supervision immediately.
• Ensure all trucks are scaled in & out per procedure and the accompanying paperwork is turned in to the appropriate department. Report all scale issues immediately to maintenance. Ensure all scales certifications are available to the state inspectors upon their request.
• Security Officers will maintain a professional appearance at all times, uniforms will be serviceable and shoes shall meet plant safety standards.
• Be prepared to provide aid during any facility emergency to ensure the safety of plant personnel. This could be First-Aid, CPR, Scott-Air Packs, etc.

You will be trained on all above procedures.

Uniforms will be issued.

Job Type: Full Time

Pay: 17.00 per hour

• Monday-Friday (2pm-10pm)
