As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Operations in Normal, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic automotive location. You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties, monitor access points, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun: 05:30 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, offices, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry authorization in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
