Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard for our Orangeburg, SC site. This full-time role requires strong customer service, vigilance, and the ability to operate a computer or tablet to document incidents.

You will patrol client sites, enforce safety procedures, and respond calmly to emergencies, protecting people and property. Ideal candidates are 21+ with a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening.

Employment Type: Full Time

Starting Base Pay: $18.00 per hour

Workdays Available: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Must Be 21+ Years of Age for Role

A Valid Driver's License

Must Have Great Customer Service Skills

Must Be Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for role
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must possess a valid Driver’s Licensewith at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a vehicle required.
