Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site requirements, including verifying credentials and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and client site procedures.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.63 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
