Job summary

Reconext in Grapevine, TX is seeking a Security Guard to provide protection and security across company facilities. The role includes monitoring premises, enforcing safety policies, and responding to emergencies.

The position requires a Texas level II security license and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and nights, as needed. Applicants should be able to document incidents, coordinate evacuations, and liaise with internal departments and outside agencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is a plus.
• At least five years of experience in private security, military, or police.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• No Criminal History.
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Document incidents and review reports before submission.
• Coordinate and conduct security-related training.
• Enforce security, safety and evacuation policies.
• Serve as liaison to other departments and outside agencies.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and statutes.
• Coordinate emergency responses.
• Maintains lost and found.
• Explain security procedures to employees/contractors.
• Assist during safety drills and direct evacuations.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and security access.
• Position daily surveillance in the parking lot.
• Work weekends, holidays, nights and extra hours when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
