Job summary

bp Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine, WA is seeking Security Officers to guard personnel and assets and deter unauthorized entry. The role requires reliability, alertness, and the ability to work nights and weekends in a safety-sensitive setting.

You will join DUS as part of BP’s security team. A high school diploma or GED, valid WA license, TWIC, and open availability are required, along with a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• WA Security Officer license or ability to obtain.
• TWIC card or ability to obtain.
• Ability to obtain WA license and provide valid ID.
• Open availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Pre-employment drug test and background check required.
• Must be able to communicate in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Protect personnel, assets and property from unauthorized entry.
• Monitor and report security incidents during shifts (nights/weekends).
• Maintain situational awareness and safe operating practices.
