You will assist employees and visitors, monitor activity, and perform occasional security rounds. Multiple shifts (Afternoon, Evening, Overnight) and weekday/weekend opportunities are available, with a pay of $19.00/hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Looking for a great way to start your career in security? Allied Universal is hiring Security Officers in Fenton for a professional, reception-style security position. No previous security experience is required, making this an excellent entry-level opportunity for dependable individuals who enjoy working with people while helping maintain a safe and secure environment.

This position offers a nice balance of customer service and security responsibilities. You'll primarily work from the reception area, assisting employees and visitors, while also conducting occasional security rounds and responding to alarms when needed.

Position Details

• Pay: $19.00/hour

• Employment: Full-Time

• Openings: 5 positions available

• Experience: Entry-Level – No security experience required

• Shifts: Afternoon, Evening & Overnight

What You'll Do

• Provide a professional and welcoming presence at the reception desk

• Assist employees, visitors, and guests as needed

• Monitor activity and help maintain site security

• Conduct occasional security rounds of the property

• Respond to and investigate alarms

• Report unusual or suspicious activity

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  *A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only
