Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard to protect clients across industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government in the Chicago area. You will provide safety and security procedures and respond to incidents as part of a professional team.

Pay rate is $20.00 per hour. Minimum requirements include age, education, background check, and drug screen; licensing may be required depending on state laws.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check required by federal, state, and local laws
• Drug screen required where permitted by law
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws; a valid driver’s license for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter; working environments vary by client site
