E.K.G Security, Inc. in Asheville, NC is hiring a full-time Security Guard to help keep every day peaceful for our clients. We’re seeking highly observant and determined people who aren’t afraid to jump into action and quickly squash problems.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Customer service experience
• Ability to assess and evaluate situations
• Physical ability to climb stairs, lift 50 lbs., and stand/sit for extended periods
• Proficiency with computers, phones and 2-way radios
• Ability to learn new software and systems
• High school degree or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Close attention to detail
• High levels of integrity and trustworthiness

Responsibilities

• Guard clients' properties and ensure guests and staff can go about their days unharmed
• Active patrols and monitor access controls
• Remain vigilant and respond to distress calls or alarms
• Coordinate with other security personnel to handle disorderly or potentially dangerous people
