As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.48 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, patients, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities in a healthcare-related location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, laboratories, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, incident, and patrol documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and public responders when needed.
• Help maintain a professional, orderly environment by providing directions, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following confidentiality requirements for sensitive areas and information.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
